In 2009 she graduated from the Scenography Department of the Russian University of Theatre Arts GITIS, course by Dmitry Krymov
Artist, co-founder of Dmitry Krymov Laboratory, where she worked as a set designer, costume designer and actress from 2004 to 2013.
Since 2012 Vera has been the chief set designer in Gogol-center.
Winner of the Edinburgh International Art Festival Award, ‘Golden Triga’ award at the International exhibition of scenography and set design Prague Quadrennial, ‘Golden Mask’ award in performance design for Opus No7 (2010).
Resident of the Residency Program of Watermill Centre founded by Robert Wilson (New York).
Teacher at the Directing Department in GITIS and the postgraduate department of Moscow Art Theatre School.
She is the author of about 30 performances and of a huge exhibition project ‘Stone. Scissors. Paper. Museum attempt.’ (in collaboration with Maria Tregubova) in the New Moscow Manege. She also collaborates with the Bakhrushin Theatre Museum as an exhibition artist.
